It is my pleasure to announce that I have been awarded the great honor of being one of the winners at the 2007 Metropolitan Opera National Council Four City District Auditions!

On January 13, my fiance Michael and I traveled to Pittsburgh, PA for the Regional Auditions. Although I did not place at the next round, it was an amazing experience. I truly felt "in my league". I truly felt that anyone could have won. I was also given the opportunity to speak with the judges after the event, who were very kind to offer fabulous advice and thoughts for future auditions.

Thank you to all who supported me through the process - it was a memorable time that I look forward to repeating again next year!

On October 7, I made a fun trip to the mall to have some headshots taken. It was TOO much fun! I had a blast ... such a blast, in fact, that I cannot choose which photo should be THE headshot that will be sent to the companies and programs for which I am auditioning. Could you help me?

Hello everyone! Thanks so much for checking out my new website! This is a work in progress, greatly inspired by my mother’s site, rondamatson.com.
